String Ensemble Camp

🎻 Harmonize Your Summer!

Calling all young Violinists, Violists, and Cellists!

Are you ready to take your playing beyond the practice room? Join us for an exciting 6-week summer journey designed specifically for string players ages 8–14. This isn’t just a lesson—it’s a chance to experience the power of making music as a team.

🎼 What to Expect

Meeting once a week, campers will dive into the art of ensemble playing. Our curriculum focuses on the “Three Cs”: Connection, Confidence, and Creativity.

• Ensemble Mastery: Learn the essential skills of orchestral playing—how to listen across the section, blend your tone, and follow a conductor.
• Musicianship & Theory: We break down the “language of music” through fun, age-appropriate theory sessions that make sense of what’s on the page.
• Games & Activities: From rhythm challenges to interactive music games, we keep the energy high and the learning hands-on.
• Diverse Repertoire: Students will explore a variety of fun, engaging songs that prove classical instruments can do it all!

🌟 Why Join?

• Grow Your Skills: Improve your sight-reading and rhythmic accuracy in a supportive environment.
• Make New Friends: Connect with fellow young musicians who share your passion.
• Perform with Pride: Build stage presence and celebrate your progress.

🎹 The Grand Finale

The camp concludes with a showcase performance! We invite family and friends to join us on the final day to witness the incredible music these young ensembles have built from the ground up.
