Spring Recital Details!

Date: Saturday, May 2nd
Times: 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM
- Students will be scheduled for the specific recital time when their teacher is present. We will announce assigned recital times once all sign-ups are complete.
Location: Main Auditorium at the studio (First Christian Church of Valparaiso, 1507 E Glendale Blvd, Valparaiso)
Fee: $10 per performer
Guests: Friends and family are invited to attend – not charge!
Performer sign-up deadline: Sat, April 11

We absolutely love Innovative Music Studio! The teachers are excellent and my kids are learning so much. It's a wonderful environment for learning and exploring the fine arts. So glad to have found this place!!

Miss Joy has been PHENOMENAL with all three of my kiddos! My children all have a wide range of abilities and she's been able to meet their unique needs on individual levels and continue to challenge them at an appropriate pace. My family has been completely blessed to have found Innovative Music & Arts Studio and we're so thankful for such a supportive team!

I am so very glad that our family found this amazing place for our daughter! Everyone is very helpful, friendly, and my daughter loves going to ballet so much! She has learned so much from Miss. Hannah since joining, and has improved greatly in many areas. She is a great teacher! Very impressed and highly recommend! :)

My children LOVE music lessons at Innovative Studios! The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and so caring for each child. Because of this, my children enjoy practicing, are motivated to improve, but also feel happy and confident about their abilities. I highly recommend this studio, and all the teachers on staff.

We love this music school! I was able to be with kids at the first trial class and I could not believe that in less than an hour they all were introduced to three different instruments and could play 3 different songs on 3 instruments! I loved warm and welcoming atmosphere as well as friendly teachers! And when I say my son loved it, it means a lot. It’s my second attempt to introduce him to music and a very success one! The first music school he tried he didn’t enjoy and refused to go to, this one is completely different! He is actually reminding me when his next class is!

Learning the ukulele with Kim Dale has been a lot of fun. She uses a number of e-learning tools that helps one to stay on track and do the practice that is required to learn the cords and strumming techniques. The on-line learning techniques are important in the "Covid-19" environment, especially for us older folks.

Kim is an amazing teacher! She’s patient yet thorough. She is great with all ages. Not only ya she taught piano to two of my sons, she’s taught this mom how to play her very first instrument at 38 years of age...the Ukulele!

Mrs Kim has made learning piano for our 8 year old daughter wonderful in many ways. She is so welcoming, enthusiastic, supportive and makes our daughter’s lessons fun too! There is great consistency but always making the student stretch to learn more! We are thrilled to be one of her students!

My son absolutely loves his piano lessons. Mrs. Dale is an amazing talented teacher. She is so patient and kind with the kids. She makes it so much for him, she picks songs for him to learn based off of his interests. She challenges him to practice every day home. It's awesome to hear him practice on his own without me telling him too. He's excited week over week to show Mrs. Dale how he has improved! Highly recommend Innovative Music Studio!!!

Kim Dale is not only an extremely talented musician but has an encouraging, patient heart for teaching children. She challenges her students to reach their goals with exciting incentives and opportunities to perform outside her studio. Having taught in a music studio, I was impressed with the selection of music she tailors to each student. My daughter looks forward to each harp lesson and I am pleased with her progress over the past 18 months.

My daughter has been taking lessons at Innovative Music Studio for over three years now. Kim is a great teacher, she customized her teaching to the child’s learning style and keeps my daughter excited about her lessons by incorporating new techniques and ideas for her to continue to grow and thrive in her lessons and performances. We see our daughter improve in her playing every week. She recently started playing the flute in her middle school band, and she picked up the instrument so quickly I feel because of the foundation Innovative Music Studio has given her in music theory. If you are looking for a teacher for you or your child, I highly recommend Kim and Innovative Music Studio!
