Fun online music lessons with a live teacher! Available for Piano, Harp, Guitar & Ukulele!
Lessons are conducted over a live video platform (such as Zoom). The teacher interacts with the student very similarly to a traditional music lesson. The student will learn through a method book series, improv assignments, fun songs and music challenges!
The teacher writes notes and assignments in a student app and can send sheet music, exercises, video clips, etc. for the student to access on their phone, device or computer.
Music students are required to have an instrument to practice on at home. We are happy to give direction on acquiring a good beginner instrument – please feel free to reach out to discuss specific options. You may also check out these general recommendations:
- Piano! View our recommendations on finding a piano/keyboard
- Guitar! Youth size guitars that we like: Ibanez GA1 1/2 Size Guitar or Yamaha CGS Student Guitar 3/4-Size. Consult with us to determine the correct size guitar
- Ukulele! We recommend one of the following brands: Kala, Mitchell, or Luna. For young children a soprano is recommended. For adults, a soprano or concert ukulele is recommended.
