Harp Lessons

Thank you for your interest in studying the harp! It is a wonderful instrument with such beauty and versatility.

Harp lessons are 30-60 minutes in length. Adult and teen beginners, ad intermediate/advanced harp students, should plan on taking weekly 45-minute or 60-minute lessons. Young beginner students (age 7 & up) should plan on taking weekly 30-minute lessons.

Students must have a harp at home so that they are able to practice. Time is spent in the student’s first lesson determining which harp is the best fit based off of their age and their specific goals. Most students begin learning on a lever harp. Depending on their goals, they may eventually choose to upgrade to a pedal harp.

Direction will be given for where to acquire the harp. Most of our students rent their harp for at least the first few months of their lessons.

The student is responsible to pay for their harp method books and harp repertoire books. The teacher will give instruction on what books are needed.
