In our deluxe piano lessons, we meet on a weekly basis for 60 minutes. Your child will be seated at one of the three full-sized digital pianos in our lesson room. They will move through three piano stations during their lesson:

The Teacher Piano: The student receives a private lesson one on one with the teacher. Both teacher and student are on headphones that are connected to the piano. They will cover new concepts using lesson books, music theory, repertoire songs and sometimes music games to reinforce musical concepts. They review materials from the previous week and work on fun songs or performance pieces.

The Assignment Piano: The teacher will give specific assignments of what the student will work on at this piano. Depending on their level, that may include completing their music theory assignment, drilling scales, working on a piece from their repertoire, and more! This gives the student an opportunity to have a focused practice session where they go over assigned pieces or techniques on their own with headphones. They are able to solidify what they are learning before they leave the studio and they can get any questions answered!

The iPad Piano: The student gets to utilize our fun piano iPad app, Piano Maestro, which helps to develop their music-reading accuracy, speed and their rhythm skills! The student gets to play along with a metronome as they sight read new pieces and they get to increase their accuracy and speed in the process! It feels like a game – the keys are your controls! The app challenges them, keeps track of their progress and gives feedback to help them excel!

Our students like the fact that we teach them to play songs that they know and love! And that makes us happy too!
We call our piano lessons “deluxe” because they offer so much more than traditional lessons!
