Felting Class – NEW CLASS

Explore two incredible ways to create with wool in one dynamic workshop! This class guides young artists through both flat and three-dimensional needle felting techniques.
We will start the session by mastering flat needle felting. Students will use wool roving like “paint” to stamp a custom vibrant design onto a felt backing or a patch. Then, we will transition into 3D sculpting, learning how to wrap, compress, and join shapes together to build a miniature free-standing sculpture, like a pocket-sized animal, character, or food item.

  • Age: 8-12
    • Day/time: Tuesdays at 12:30 – 1:30pm
  • Age: 12-17
    • Day/time: Tuesdays at 1:30 – 2:30pm
  • Length: 7 weeks
  • Dates: October 27 – December 8
  • Cost: $189 per 7-week class, all supplies are provided!

Printmaking – All New Projects for October-December Session

This session of Printmaking includes all new projects! What is a print, and how does printmaking work? Before a print can be made it is has to be carved out or created on a surface. This surface can be created by carving on a block of wood, metal or linoleum (a type of plastic), or by gluing objects onto a surface. There are many different methods and mediums within printmaking, which is what makes it so exciting!

When the surface is ready, the printmaker applies ink to it. Then it is pressed against a piece of paper. This creates a unique imprint on the paper, called an “impression”. Since the ink applies differently every time it is pressed to paper, each print is an original piece of art and not a copy.

Class Safety Notice: Artistic growth involves professional tools! Students in this class will be working with sharp carving equipment and must use caution. To ensure a safe and focused studio environment, this class is exclusively for ages 10–16.

  • Age: 10-17

What Parents Are Saying

I cannot say enough good things about Mrs. C! My daughter took her Cursive Writing class and absolutely fell in love with it!   She is so patient and knowledgeable about various art techniques.   My daughter can’t wait to take more classes with her in the fall!

My kids loved having Ms. Angela as an art teacher! She is so much fun and patient! They came home excited about every project they did, and she taught them to be proud of their work and not to compare it to others!

My kids LOVED taking an art class with Mrs. C. She is fun, patient, and so knowledgeable. All my kids learned a lot and did some beautiful art projects to frame and display.  We will definitely take more classes with her.
