About Innovative Music Studio
A Fun Approach to Learning Music
Our students enjoy a unique music lesson experience that transforms studying music into a fun, exciting and interactive adventure! They learn technique, music reading, theory, improvising, performance and songwriting. Best of all, our students have fun playing songs that they know and love while learning their instrument!
Music and the Arts in Valparaiso
Our Studio is about to relocated to 1507 E Glendale Blvd in Valparaiso – right across from Valplayso! We would love to have you visit – message us to set up a time!
The majority of our lessons are taught in-person at our studio. However, we do have online lesson available for students who prefer to learn from home or if students are occasionally unable to make it to the studio for a lesson.
Our Unique Learning System
We utilize technology to create an amazing learning system for our students! We incorporate learning stations which allow students to progress at their own pace while providing the opportunity for individualized instruction with the teacher during the lesson time. These include: music education apps, music writing software, digital lesson materials, and focused practice sessions, depending on the student’s level and goals.
Ultimately, we want to help our students develop a life-long love for music and the skills to enjoy and share their music with others!
The History of Innovative Music Studio
After teaching music in various capacities in different locations since the year 2000, Innovative Music Studio was started in November of 2014 in the Valparaiso area. Starting as a one-room studio in my home with a handful of students, we now have our own large studio space and provide in-person lessons and live-streaming online lessons to students in Northwest Indiana and across the country!
